The Athens Nurses Clinic has a 33 year history of providing health and dental care at to cost to uninsured indigent residents of Athens and northeast Georgia. Care includes visits, medications lab tests, home care supplies, dental cleaning, x-rays, extractions and restorations. Athens Nurses Clinic also provides for free mammograms, colon cancer screenings, nutrition education with cooking classes and many more related areas.

Covenant’s Participation:
Throughout the year, interns from the Athens Nurses Clinic collaborate with Covenant by doing blood pressure screenings and passing on health care information at our food pantry. The church and individual members donate to Athens Nurses Clinic each year, volunteer with the clinic and help with their annual fundraiser.
